Nisakathakadi Kwath is a decoction prepared from some herbs that act on the urinary system. It also has antidiabetic and antihyperglycemic properties. It lowers blood glucose level and improves insulin function by reducing insulin resistance. In addition, it is also helpful for preventing diabetic complications including diabetic nephropathy, neuropathy, and gastroparesis. It is also an effective solution for excessive micturition that occurs due to diabetes mellitus. Moreover, Nisakathakadi Kashayam serves antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions.
Nishakathakadi kashayam ingredients:
- nisa-turmeric
- kataka-clearing nut
- paranti-ixora coccinia
- lodhra-symplocos racemosa
- amalaki-emblica officinalis
- Bhadrika
- Mehari moola
- usheera
- Added with 8parts of water and boiled to reduce to quarter the quantity.
Dosage:
12-24ml with equal quantity of warm water once or twice or as directed by the physician.
If tablet then the dose is 1-2tab twice or thrice a day or as directed.
