Kerala Ayurveda Dhanwanthararishtam
Dhanwanthararishtam is an Ayurvedic medication mainly used for the postnatal care of the mothers. It helps them to overcome weakness, mental stress, and other symptoms occurring during this period and also, improves their overall health and well being. It is a liquid medicine containing about 5 to 10% of self-generated alcohol. This natural alcohol, together with the water prevents in the medicine, acts as a media for delivering the active principles in the herbs. This medicine is also called Dhanwanthararishtam.
Action : Carminative, Anti inflammatory, Diuretic, Analgesic, Vasodilator, Antipyretic.
Indication : Prenatal and post natal maternity care, Nervous disease like Hemiplegia, Facial paralysis, Convulsive disorders,Wasting, Numbness, Gas trouble, Dysuria, Fever.
